I came across
The Gender Genie on
Dovegreyreader's blog. It uses an algorithm to predict the gender of the writer of a piece of writing pasted into the box. So I pasted some blog entries in. And it consistently thinks I'm male. Ah well, who wants to fit in a mould.
So I posted in some of Astrelle (let the reader understand) - i.e. written by a woman but translated by me, a chap, and it came out male. Doesn't prove anything, but it's interesting.

ReplyDeleteI just gave it everything that's currently on the front page of my knitting blog. And it thinks I'm male again.
ReplyDeleteI tried it with a couple of things from my blog, one of them - one of my recent posts came out female. So I tried the post from a while back about lorries and that came out male. Thought that was quite funny really :-)
