Ambulances, police cars and fire engines are howling up and down the road outside work. Is this because something's going on or because there's an ambulance station and a fire station very nearby?
I'm tired and a little jumpy and quite ready to go home.

Praying for you. God Bless you...don't be afraid...God is there. The terrorists want you to be jumpy, and to be afraid. That's not what we should be. God is for us.
Thanks Tim. I think the jumpiness is mostly because of the tiredness. Yesterday I was teaching Sunday school kids about not being afraid because God is protecting us. I think I needed to hear it too.
That's amazing isn't it! God surely does work in mysterious ways. God bless! These past few weeks have made us here in D.C. jumpy as well...and I remember 9/11 and the following days as being filled with an unexplainable fear...then feeling God's peace come on all of us.
